Where We Are

In the first 10 years, Heritage Gas will build a system that reaches all or part of the following six counties: Cumberland County, Colchester County, Pictou County, Guysborough County, Halifax Regional Municipality, and Hants County.

Currently natural gas is available in parts of Dartmouth, Halifax, Areoteck Park at the Robert Stanfield International Airport and in the community of Amherst. Over time, we hope to serve thousands of Nova Scotians with the best possible energy choice. Heritage Gas’ construction plans will be market driven and will depend upon customer interest. As we gain customer commitment within our franchise area we will build the natural gas infrastructure.
