DARTMOUTH, NS – On July 7, 2015, Heritage Gas Limited achieved the milestone of activating its 6,000th natural gas customer, Spindrift Brewing Company, a locally-owned and operated microbrewery. Spindrift, owned by partners Andrew Bell and Andy Armstrong, is located in the Burnside Industrial Park in Dartmouth, NS.
Natural gas will support the brewery’s operational performance and provide a high level of quality assurance for its brewing process. “Natural gas is a perfect fit for us because the reliability of heating and cooling applications in the brewing process is crucial,” said Kellye Robertson, Brewmaster with Spindrift Brewing.
“By choosing natural gas, Spindrift is now able to take advantage of an affordable, efficient and reliable energy source, while reducing the environmental footprint of their business operations,” said Chris Smith, President of Heritage Gas. “We are very pleased that Spindrift has chosen natural gas and are grateful to have them as our 6,000th customer. We wish them every success as they begin their journey in the increasingly popular local craft beer industry.”
