February 17, 2006 First Natural Gas Customer Signed on Halifax Peninsula Halifax, NS – Heritage Gas announced today that TransGlobe Property Management Services has signed a distribution service agreement committing to natural gas service in Halifax. The agreement will become effective in fall 2007 when the natural gas distribution system is expanded to the Halifax peninsula. TransGlobe is the first commercial customer to sign up for gas distribution service on peninsula Halifax. TransGlobe currently enjoys the benefits and savings of natural gas at eight apartment buildings in Dartmouth and is eager to convert its newly acquired property; Ocean Towers, located at 2309/2327 Brunswick Street and 5214 Gerrish Street. “We are happy that natural gas service will soon be available in Halifax,” said Jamie Vigliarolo, Executive Director of Operations, TransGlobe. “The environmental benefits, reliability and efficiency of natural gas are important to us as a company.
